Library primarily relies on integrations with Google APIs to retrieve data from Google Drive, but also relies on Google APIS for OAuth 2.0 and Cloud Datastore to enable access restrictions and view history. To use these features, you’ll need a GCP project. If you already have one, you can skip the steps below and create a service account for your Library instance.
To create a new GCP project, go to https://console.cloud.google.com/projectcreate
Your project name can be anything you like. Associate the project with your organization, if applicable, and hit “Create.” This will take a few moments, but then you should be able to select the project from the GCP project dropdown to the left of the search bar
You’re now ready to create a service account for your Library instance.
